I do not know much about pre 1960 cars. Is there anything on this that would be needed? I have not bought it yet but want to see if it is worth my time. The price it right I feel to justify parting it out. Not much good other than trim.
Windshield says it's a 49, looks to have some rust but you eastern guys probably think it is rust free. Popular hot rod body style. With it and another part's car it could be a nice classic hot rod....Tedd
It's a 1949 "76" model (6 cylinder)
Probably lots of good parts there, if you can find someone who needs them.
I wouldn't pay too much more than scrap price for it though.
Aren't the power steering setups on these Oldsmobiles desirable? I recall seeing a 53 in the salvage yard and I was told to go after the PS. This one looks like it has been sitting for a minute.

Power steering wasn't introduced until 1952.
This 1949 model has " armstrong " steering.😊
Yes, the 52 & 53 power steering setups are in demand because they can be made to fit in a 49 thru 51 car.

Looks like a great parts car for someone looking for it. How's the interior and glass? That car got some love from someone. Always a shame to see cars become one with environment. As was said that car looks like it has been sitting for a long time.
Maybeeeeee. I know a guy with a spare 57 Olds engine and transmission, a spare J-2 carb set up, a spare 57-64 4.11 Anti Spin pumpkin. He also has a tri carb set up, a spare Tunnel Ram and a spare 455 that could turn into a 500 C.I. Can you keep a secret ?
