47' sedan/soon to be woodie cruiser

Hey guys. I'm looking at doing a project with my 16 yr. old daughter.
I have this 76 series sedan 1947. We are wanting to turn this into a surf car/woodie. It's all original and runs super. We are looking at using bamboo for the wood siding and headliner. Door panels will be something like hemp material. And actually considering doing the floorboard in bamboo as well. Will probably recreate a roof rack for full length of car.
Does this seem like an okay project....
Keep in account my daughter is a engineering student in college. This is all her vision. Thought it was pretty cool view of an old beauty.

Oh, forgot to add I found this ornamental old pelican and an old surfer dude trophy from the sixties for a possible hood ornament.
