324 vs 394

I have a chance to buy a 394 locally from a 1962 Starfire, the crank has been ground already and all the parts are there.

Other than the extra horsepower are there any benefits to this swap?

Drawbacks?

my car has factory ac and I’m concerned the pulley I have will not fit the 394, does anyone know if that’s true?

any input is greatly appreciated

current car, 1955 98’ 4 door sedan with a 324 that needs a complete rebuild.

thanks!!

Disregard, it’s a 1962 model

I guess the exhaust manifolds are different and will not fit correctly in the 55’ engine bay, and a few other differences I don’t care to deal with.
