324 and 394 engine
Well, until guys who know this vintage speak up I can share a few things.
I tried to sell a 1950 303 complete but couldn't. Then I started taking it apart and listing items on ebay. I sold about $400 and still have the crankshaft and block.
I've got a 1955 4 door parts car and started removing parts from the engine. There wasn't as much demand, but I still sold almost all the smaller or light weight parts.
If the purchase price is right and you have the time, you might be able to sell pieces if not the whole engine.

I see complete 324's sell for $300 to $400 price range in un stuck condition with some mystery if it's a runner or just a good core. I haven't done much on the bigger engines in years but they also should fall in to that bracket....Just my thoughts....Tedd
The 324 isn't stuck and is all together. The 394 is somewhat apart. Has a new cam. The intake has an odd number on it,587580 stamped beside the thermostat housing and a large D1 stamped on the left side beside the 4 barrel carb. I wad looking, no reference to this intake. Also I am thinking this is a high comp engine, painted red. This might be a nice keeper for an old hotrod
