400 turbo cutlass

My 1984 cutlass calais being converted to v8 chevy 406 s scattered the 350 turbo trans so I installed a 400 turbo, it's all in and needs a driveshaft. Will my factory driveshaft work for the length after I switch the yoke out for the 400 yoke or will it need shortened and balanced. I'm hoping i don't have to. Has anyone else done this and what all had to be done, thanks.

Your factory drive shaft will need to be shortened and a new yoke.

Get something better than the spindly 7.5" drive shaft. The 7.5" will explode next, the spider gears are soft and explode, been there.
