TH350 olds cable from gas pedal directly to transmission

TH350 olds cable from gas pedal directly to transmission
There was a cable going directly from my gas pedal to the passenger side of the transmission (fell off as I was taking tranny out so I did not see where it was attached). Any ideas on what this cable is?
