350 or 700?

I have a ? about this transmission, it was bolted to an Olds 403 in my 72 what type of transmission is this? 350 or 700? It has C4 on the top bellhousing..thanks

From what I can see it's a TH350.

thanks guys, another ?, you say lock up..does that mean you need anything special for it to keep it from locking up or what not? Ive heard you need a special distributor or a lock up kit or something like that..im selling it to somebody and i dont want them to go through all that trouble and then call me back complaining about it not bolting right up and working istantly. He has a 200R and wants a 350 or 700 to get more out of his cutlass. Thanks again.

It will not lockup without the proper lockup kit or factory wiring connected. Also, the converter is not the same as the basic 350/400 converter either. Will bolt up to any modern BOP motor and I've used them before without the lockup connected with no problems

700's only come with a Chevy bolt pattern. 350's and 200's are the same length within 7/8 inch
