1957 Olds 88 371 to 200-4R Swap

I know there are hundreds of transmission swap/repairs posts because I've read at least half of them. Rebuilding the original Jetaway 4spd is very expensive - can only find 1 shop in the Kansas City area willing to attempt it. If its going to cost that much money, then might as well upgrade to something anyone can work on. I've read the 700R4 requires modifying the floor pan. Bow Tie Overdrives builds a level 2 200-4R to handle up to 500hp / 450 ft-lbs torque so I'm not worried about the typical "200-4r is too weak" comments. Has anyone tried this swap and would it require floor pan mods since it is smaller? Thanks!

Well, I guess I got my answer by not getting any answers. I read that the 200-4R is the same size as the Turbo TH350. So, maybe someone has swapped a TH350 behind their 371 without mod'ing the floor pan? :-)
