is that aluminum? if so i would have painted it black and then take a sander to the fins. i would have ben to lazy to tape and cut.

It is aluminum and in hindsight I would have done the same thing. It took way too long to tape that off and a wiz wheel, file, sander etc. Would have been much quicker. Hey it was good therapy for a few hours, lol.

Yes Boldsmobile that is gonna cause drag! Maybe I'll cut the fins off and JB Weld them back on the other way
