I'm looking to get more information about this transmission. I was told it was a 400 transmission but looking at the code it seems to say 74 OA. Does the board happen to have any information on this. Its suppose to be behind a 455 now and I couldn't find information about a 74 OA being a 400 even. Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have. Thanks in advance.
In the 1974 model year, OA was the code for a TH400 used behind an Olds 350 motor in the Delta 88 line. This may have actually been a TH375 with the small output shaft.

That's the information I was coming up with when googling and wanted to make sure. Could that even be paired with a 455 engine? It just seems odd. And I see no reason why the stamp would be replaced or re-stamped.

It should not have been installed behind a BBO from the factory.
