On a 68 442 with a th400 the trany cooling lines that go into the radiator which one is the return line? and which one is the pressure line?
I'm thinking of installing a transmission cooler. (small radiator type)

The return is the top line, near the radiator cap. There's a picture on page 7-24 of the '68 Chassis Service Manual (Figure 7-24) that demonstrates this and rigging an auxiliary cooler.
