trans swap

what 6 speed stick can i bolt up to a 350ci or 455ci?

The Tremec TKO 500 or 600 will bolt up with the correct bellhousing. Weir Hot Rod Products now sells a bellhousing to mate a T56 to a BOP pattern:

BOP is Buick/Olds/Pontiac (and Cadillac). These motors all use the same bellhousing bolt pattern, which is different from Chevy. The Tremec transmissions bolt to a stock BOP bellhousing. The T56 requires the custom Weir bellhousing. Your call. Neither way is very inexpensive. Expect to pay $2500-3500 for all the parts (including the trans).
