I have a 1978 Cutlass Calais with a 350 Chevy eng...it was orginally a 305 crossbread. It currently has a 350TH transmission and I am going to replace that with a rebuilt 700R4 from a 1993 truck. I am looking for some help on what I am going to have to do to make this happen and what other parts will be necessary. I am assuming I will need to shorten the driveshaft? Will I have to get a new crossmember or move the old one? A kit to connect to carb? Do I need a tranny cooler? I just want to know what I am getting into before I get started. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
