Tranny Blues

I have a rebuilt TH350 that I just installed. Now when I am driving and I am about to come to a complete stop I hear a popping sound(trying to explain it the best I can). The car takes off fine and it is the only time I hear that sound and my St300 never made that sound. Could this be the kickdown cable? I know the ST300 didn’t have the kickdown cable like the TH350.

I am going to be taking it back to the guy who did the rebuilt on the tranny and see what he says, cause it also has dropped oil 2 times now, it never drops oil when it is running but if I leave it sit for 3 days it will drop oil. Tranny was rebuilt 4 weeks ago.

Is these problem normal or is there something really bad going on?

Thanks for any help.

your front joint at the drive shaft is probably rubbing in the tunnel. mine does the same when i brake hard enough, i did the the same tranny swap as well.
