While the topic of what the weep hole is in the slip yoke of some TH350’s has been covered, my question is more on the proper fix. I see there are many suggestions to plug it, weld it or JB it. I’d like to fix it properly if I can. Is it safe to deduce that if I have the weep hole in my yoke then I have the output shaft that has the metal sleeve and the o-ring, rather than the yoke with the missing spline? I don’t want to purchase parts for something that isn’t applicable. I also don’t want to pull the yoke and have the car sit while I order parts.

Does anyone have a lead on what the proper part number/retailer that I can pick up the proper o-ring from?
