I am in severe need of a Shift Cable/Rod for a 71 Cutlass with the Hurst/Floor Shifter. I do not know what to ask for when ordering or where to even get one. My Car is a 71 Cutlass and to my knowledge, it is the original floor shifter. I bought the car in 1999 and drove it for a year until I parked it for 6 years while stationed in Japan with the Marine Corps. I have since returned from Japan and Iraq and have completed the car restoration and now I need to be able to use the floor shifter instead of shifting from the colom. It is an automatic and all is rebuilt. I never used the floor shifter when I was driving it, so if you know what I need or have one laying around, please let me know. Thanks to you all.
