shiftworks cable

converting 2spd to th350 in 69 cutlass and have a question about shiftworks shift cable. their instructions are pathetic at best. there is a sealing flange around cable w/ 3 holes for screw attachment to floor trans hump. does flange go on interior or attach from under side. both ends of cable are same and original does not use flange, just foam around hole and wrapped around cable. anyone installed these before
thanks

I'm doing the same on my 69 and just posted a question on whether a new selector cable is even needed. As for your question. If there was no way to contact the manufacturer for guidance, my personal preference would be to have the flange on the interior side for ease of access. Good Luck. Rob
