Shifter off 1967 M20---will it fit my 70??

Recently I purchased a 1967 Muncie M20. The transmission had a shifter bolted on the transmission.

My question: Can I use the shifter and shift rods when I bolt the M20 up to my 70 Cutlass console car? I see that the chrome lever will not work as it does not have the right bend at the base. But can I use the shifter and rods?

The chrome lever says B&M and has been heated and bent. I doubt its usable.

Here are the numbers off the shifter: 32162743306126 and second # 503 0024 . The backer plate for the shifter did not have numbers on it. There was no brand name on the shifter--just numbers.

I am not so concerned with originality. I am concerned that it fits in the console as it should and works well.
