Rear Transmission Seal

1955 Olds 3 speed Hydramatic needs new rear transmission seal. I have ordered several from numerous suppliers and they are all slightly small in outside diameter and won't fit snugly. I am sure the tranny is original to the car. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

There were no 3 speed Hydra-Matics in '55. Like all Hydra-Matics from '52-'56, and Jetaways from '56 to '60, yours should have first and second gears in Lo range.

Thanks--my selector offers L-S-and D so I just assumed 3 speed. Sorry!
