I ordered an M22Z (M22 with 2.98 first gear) from Jody's Transmissions about three months ago. I then put it on hold (thought I may want a TKO600) then resumed the order a few weeks ago.

The first thing I have to say about Jody is P*A*T*I*E*N*T!
Right up there along with patience is his profesionalism and product knowledge.

I drove up there this Saturday to pick up the trans. I brought along the shifter and he set it up for me. This is my first venture with a 4 speed. He gave me a bunch of installation pointers. In general - A GREAT GUY!

The powertrain is a BTR Olds 496 with approximately 500hp and mid to upper 500's TQ. Trans is the M22Z with a 3.08 rear. Should turn around 2500rpm's at about 70mph. All going in a 72 442 convertible.
