The car sits really low, didn't you replace the worn out springs?
It looks really good, that baby has to ooze down the road now.

Palm trees in London?, I never knew???

I'll bet it's south London =D

Very nice ride! What did you put in for a suspension?

Close!
it's Southend on Sea actually. This is the estuary of the river Thames.

We tried a few different combinations but in the end we settled for chopped front springs (about 3 coils!) and VW T25 Transporter rear coils. Needed to make a bracket to stop them from falling out :-)

There's not much suspension to be honest and any large dips in the road will see it hit the rubber bump stops. Had to be done though

hI, I just sold an original 74,000 mile car just like yours. See my ad. I think this guy will have it looking like yours with very little work. Yours looks real sharp.

There are Palm trees there then??
Must be that gulf stream effect deal.
With the gulf stream there will probably be oil there soon too, it's yours anyway.

This is FAR from a Palm Tree's natural habitat. These were installed along our glorious promenade in an attempt to brighten up the dank place, unfortunately you can't polish a steaming turd and they pretty much died after 5 days!
And what you see behind them, which may look like wet dark sand where the tide has gone out, is in fact oil soaked silt and mud so we already know what it's like!!!
:-)
