hey everyone I am in need of a new shifter and have been looking at the hurst quarter stick. Something about Olds and hurst I guess. I was wondering if anyone has previously installed one in a factory 70 442 auto console without having to chop it up. I know someone here has a pro matic and it fit well but I would prefer the gate instead of ratchet if possible. Thanks for al your help.
