69 Cutlass/442 Hurst shift stick

Does anyone have the specs (height and bend or Hurst PN) for the Hurst stick (not the shifter) for a M20 application on a Cutlass/442 w the console? The one I have does not have enought of a bend to the rear at the top and I have to lean forward for 1/3/R shift positions. It is not original to the car.

Looking for either a source to buy new or will buy a nice one if someone happens to have one for sale.

Pics and assistance appreciated.

That shifter handle is the same for 67-69,with the 442 on the sides.I should be able to get you some dimensions, and the number stamped on the bottom.I don't have one to offer, but I might be interested your existing handle,if it becomes available.I actually need one with less bend.

Only the 442 had "442" on the handle. The non-442s had the only the "H" on the handle. Same shifter either way.

And what I am really looking for is the one with just the "H". Its for a 69 Cutlass. But the bend is more important then the stamping. Existing handle will be available as soon as I get my new tranny installed and the car back from paint (late May) and I have the proper stick.

This info is from a Hurst book. Did the 442 handle have both the H and 442 stampings?

3759 was a flat handle with a large letter "H" stamped into both sides. This handle was used on the Cutlass models.

3760 Looks identical to handle 3759, except for the addition of the stamped "442." Obviously this handle was used on the 442 models.

No difference in console or non console applications.

I have bought 4 speed stuff from this guy at swap meets. Be sure to give him the numbers that you need. I have seen some of his shifters with the wrong year applications on them. ie... shifter 68-72.

Never got the dimensions and its not listed on the web site, BUT I found one (3759) and should have it in the next couple of days. Properly stamped with the "H" only.

Never got a reply from Dennis.

Thanks to all for the interest.
