Hurst duel gate shifter question.

i was told that Mr Gasket sold Hurst to B&M and that B&M does not do the rebuild service. is this true? if so i have a problem with my duel gate shifter. the plate that the arm is riveted to is cracked. does anyone know where i could get this plate? it would be difficult to replace but can be done.

Any chance you could weld the crack up? I had one that I had to tack one of the tabs that slide on the arch shaped piece back on and it worked out fine( dont ask why the tab was broken off)

i think we could weld it but i will have to drill out the rivets to get the piece out. i don't know where to get the rivets. i guess i could just put screws back in it.

I used bolts with lock nuts to reassemble it. It worked out. Someone already had it apart and it seemed a little sloppy so I figured I would squeeze the tabs in a little to tighten it up did one side so far so good did the other snapped the little sucker right off. DOH!
