Filter number please?

Ok I have the dreaded Jetaway and it has a major leak. It has been hard for me to pinpoint where it is actually coming from so I wiped it all down and went back a week later to see if I could see where it was coming from. There was a little fluid around a couple of the front bolts on the pan and a little on one of the dust cover bolts but unfortunately I think it is so dry that there was no real indication of where the leak was.

So I decided to change the filter and gasket and fill er up and see if I could then find the leak but I got the wrong kit. So before I take it back does anyone know a manufaturer of these kits and a part number so I can at least cross reference it. I will also check the gasket before I take it this time .

I also noticed that the dust cover was sitting over the front edge of the pan (as seen in pic below). Is that normal?

Thanks in advance, Cheers!

The 1966 Oldsmobile parts book for the 1966 Jetaway shows the following part numbers, if it helps:

Gasket (pan): group 4.196, part 1376720
Strainer assembly (filter): group 4.197, part 1374649 superceded by 6438817
These numbers also appear in the Canadian G.M. parts catalogue number 733 A.

As far as the overlapping pans go, someone else should help you, as I am not familiar enough to say. Mine has a manual transmission.
