Can anyone Identify this Borg Warner Super T-10
Just picked up a four speed that I will be putting in one of my 69 Olds. Can't seem to get the details I want anywhere on the trans though. I have a Borg Warner Super T-10- 4 speed-(1981) that I am trying see what it came out of. Any help or links would appreciated, Have tons of numbers from it but can't decode it,

Chevrolet 1982, vehicle 8204 that year.
13-04-066-906 tells the output shaft is 27 spline for Th350 yoke(this was unike for 1982) all other Super T-10 have 32 sline TH 400 yoke.

Need more info. In 82 f body had a tailstock set up for a torque tube and will not adapt easily to a standard shifter. A pic would help.
Also need to know the number of rings around the input shaft for ratios.
Found a picture.
If the tail looks like this, it came out of an 82 Camaro and wont work for you. The rear holes are not for mounting a shifter, it's mounted centered above the tail. (Note lack of shifter mount holes, squared bottom, drivers side low speedo output)
It will also probably have 6 rings on the input shaft making it a 3.42 1st gear. If you have a 455, it will eat this trans on the first drop of a clutch.

Thanks everyone. I took it apart and found all the info out on the Gears. First was 3:42 This came out of a Chevy Luv Pick up. Crappy gears and probably weak as hell for a high Horse Muscle car. Thanks God I didn't put it in one of my cars. It was super clean and barely used when I found it. I got a great deal on it but sold it the next day after I found out what it came out of. Thought most trucks were top mounts. Not so!
