I've been involved in developing a bolt on TKX shifter for the Oldsmobile and the specific 1970-1972 1" left off center shifter. This bolt on shifter allows you to take any off the shelf TKX and have a no tunnel mods needed instalation.
Is this something that has already been developed and is for sale? If so, post an asking price and I; or one of the other mods, can move the thread to the appropriate forum.

Yes, this shifter is available with and without over shift stop bolts.
I'd be all over it if I thought the trans would hold.
What is your cubic inch and HP level? Driving intentions?
We are an authorized Tremec Dealer and installation center. Many of our installs are Chevy big blocks in the 1964-1972 A-Bodies. I have many 496s, 540s, a 565, and a grand daddy 598 with 720HP all out there about 2+ years using a TKX.
These BB installs are not track cars.
My heaviest hitter with a TKX install is a 1966 Chevelle Blueprint big block 598/720HP.
Running about 2 years but, I set him up with a lighter flywheel to lesson the shock load and gearing to lessen the drivetrain train.
Properly engineered these TKX can take the punishment.
I love the TKX but when I put it in I did not index the bellhousing and I regretted that immediately. I finally had a shop that Silver Sport recommended pull it back out and index it for me (it sucks getting old).
This shifter looks really good. One of the problems is; what shifter handle to use for the the console cars. Do they still make the Competition Plus shifter handle for console cars?

I have the TKX in my restored BBO 442 and it's awesome. My engine was dyno'd at over 570 HP and over 605 ft lbs of torque. I didn't need to do any tunnel modifications to make it fit unlike the surgery I did on my 67 Chevelle (640 HP) to get the TKO to fit. Both are great transmissions and I would recommend them both. I bought my kit and supplies from Modern Driveline and had great experiences with both projects.
I drive both of my cars hard and enjoy them. I don't intentionally try and break them, but I spend allot of time at WOT and sliding down the roads with tires smokin!
Jerry, what engine do you have and HP level? Application and purpose?
I know the BOP engines are torque monsters compared to Chevy builds.
Sorry for the slow response, been doing all this dyno testing and I'm pretty distracted.
The engine makes right about 500 HP (while I haven't dyno tested the exact combination in my car, I have tested something really close) and about 550 lb-ft of torque. It's a T56 from a Mustang Cobra upgraded with Viper parts (input shaft, gears, etc). It's in a 1970 Rallye 350 behind a 455. It has a fully hydraulic clutch and throw out bearing. Purpose, basically a daily driver in good weather. I doubt it will ever go to a track unless it parks in the parking lot.

Yes, there is a Hurst stick compatible console cars
