I'm looking to change my 65 442 shifter to floor mounted from the column, does anyone know if a shifter designed for a powergide is the same.I like the B M shifters but they don't list my cars transmission but they do list powerglides.

If your car is factory it is a 2 speed Jetaway, not a powerglide.

That's what I said in my post. What I want to know is are they interchangeable
