Adaptor Plate

Where can I buy a good adaptor plate to put a 700R4 on a 1971 455" big block? Thanks, Charly9g. wfg4u@aol.com

Any of the aftermarket stores should list them.

While everyone sells the Chevy-to-BOP adapters, note that some of the less expensive ones do not use the top bolts in the pattern. While those bolts are in compression normally and thus not really loaded, I try to stay away from those.

This one from TCI only picks up four of the seven Chevy pattern bolts.

This one from Speedway Motors gets six of seven.

And TransDapt gets all seven.
