71 98 trans rebuild best torque coverter option

I am rebuilding enging, tranny and upgrading to posi. What should I do to beef up the tranny and what torque converter option would work best. Should be about 400 hp

You wont have to do anything to a TH400 to work great and hold the horsepower you are expecting. I would use a stock converter and you will be very happy with the performance of the car.
