67 Delmont 88 4 Speed Conversion
I will be converting my '67 Delmont 88 455 to a 4 speed in the upcoming months. Most parts seem easy to get (already have the trans and shifter) but I'm not so sure about the pedals. Will the Cutlass pedals work in a full-sized Olds? If so, are other intermediate GM's, i.e. Chevelle, the same?
Since the engine most likely isn't drilled for a bellcrank I'll be using a hydraulic set up.
Has anyone made this change to a similar body style? If so, anything else that I should watch out for?

b body?
Isnt a delmont a b body, I would think pedas out of an impala, catalina, ventura, biscayne, etc would be a better match, there are also several aftermarket kits but they be pricey

As far as I know the manual trans pedals were an Olds only design. Anything can be adapted to anything with enough imagination, time and effort but I do not think there is a direct bolt in substitute for the Olds B body from other GM models. The Z bar is crazy looking due to steering box location and exhaust routing for dual exhaust. The hydraulic clutch may make things easier for you. Olds used the long shaft Muncie for their 4speed B bodies with the port for speedo plugged due to front wheel speedometer operation. The shifter was a Muncie unit but Hurst shifters swap directly.

I'm doing the same thing to my 63 Dynamic 88.
I found that B body Pontiac pedals would bolt right in and hook up to the power brake booster. The holes in the firewall were in the same location.
However the clutch linkage and "Z" bar will require some MAD fabrication.
( I don't like hydraulic clutches. )
Your situation may vary . But at least it's worth investigating.
