200 4r upgrade kit

Really considering a 200-4r upgrade.Have one in good order already sitting in the caddy which is getting a 425 toro engine .This motor will be only slightly modified -ported heads ,O4B intake , custom headers , slightly better cam .
Would the upgrade kit (below) bring the 200 4r up to speed to handle the 425 ??

http://shop.actautomatics.com/produc...1&productId=73

Thanks mike

Not even close. The turbo Buick community has found and fixed more failure points in the 200-4R than you can imagine. At an absolute minimum you also need a heat treated stator shaft and a forward clutch drum with a steel billet shaft. I've busted these parts with a 307. Depending on whether you prefer an east coast or west coast vendor, here are two of the best for 200-4R parts:

I wouldn't call this a Kit. You need to replace numerous hard parts.

Your most logical choice:

Tell Art what you want, and have him put it on "Will Call" for your brother to pick up.
