1970 turbo 350 kickdown cable?

1970 turbo 350 kickdown cable?

Hey all i think i know this is the 1970 turbo 350 kickdown ran by a cable?
passenger side of tranny to the driver side of carb?
does this control the upshift or just the passing gear

OK guys I located the cable on the passenger side of the tranny and it goes to the Excelerator pedal check out the picture. I thought the turbo 400 so only like that it's definitely a turbo 350 it has the square pan with that one corner cut off and I know the turbo 400 pan is it weird shape.

They didn't put the cable to the carb until later. The TH400 uses an electric switch and a solenoid, not a cable.

Correct that is why I posted that picture that has it going to the throttle gas cable[

the kick down controls the downshift. I have a th350 in my 72 and when I built it I left the cable out and plugged the opening. I manually downshift which is easy with a competiton shifter .the trans will down shift at lower speeds like coming to a stop still .,but not during accelration.
