Need '71 Cutlass Supreme kickdown cable 350 turbo

As title states I need a kickdown cable ASAP. I have my trans pan dropped in attempt to replace my siezed up cable. The one I ordered was the wrong one. I need the cable that goes thru the firewall from the throttle pedal to the trans. It does not have an i hook connection in the trans, more of a straight rod with a bend. Either way, i need something that will work. Does anyone have a cable they can sell me? I am starting to think the part is obsolete. Any advise always appreciated.

The cable I ordered was from Yearone. It's a plastic p.o.s., and I wouldn't use it on my go-kart.

Thanks for the reply though.

I purchased mine from Fusick. It was correct, and works properly. The sheath was "plastic" but the inside was braided steel cable. Good Luck with your search.

I honestly don't remember where I got mine. I think it was from Advance Auto. A piece of advice; lubricate the cable before you install it. Get some cable lube for motorcycles. Mine tends to stick. And when it sticks the tranny won't shift.

The stock cable is a plastic sheath. The cable is braided steel.

I had ordered a duralast kick trans kick down from autozone and the cable on the inside would not pull when it was out through the firewall. Someone told me about fusick so I ordered a kick down from them and it went in perfect with no problems

I have determined that the cable I ordered is supposed to work. It's being installed today. Turns out the i hook on the stock cable siezed up inside the housing, so all I saw was the rod sticking out which is why I thought I had a different cable. Thanks for the help. I should be good to go now.
