I have a 67 Olds Cutlass Supreme Holiday, with a 330 engine (orig/no mods) and a jetaway auto transmission with floor shifter.
My trans is leaking red tranny fluid like a stuck pig from the seals being 51 years old, and I would like to get a 3 or 4 speed transmission anyway.

I found an auto trans from a 69 which I think is a TH350 (need to confirm with seller).
I searched a bit on here about this particular swap and come up with some info, but I figured I'd ask here.
Will this bolt right up without any changes besides the kickdown cable (saw in a diff thread)?
Would I need to change out the torque converter? I need to find out what rear end is in this car.
Is there a better transmission that I should be looking for that will work with relatively few modifications?
At this point, I would prefer not to have to shorten the driveshaft, mess with mountings, etc.

The T350 is a simple swap. You will need a new torque converter and a kickdown cable. There is no need for the expensive cable you listed a link for, there are lesser expensive universal cables and brackets (depending on carb used) available.

How can I confirm if the trans is a TH350 - asked better, where are the numbers on the trans that I can ask him to take a picture of?

That is not a 69 th350.
On the other side of the trans is a metal tag it will have information stamped into it. That is a year the make it was installed in and a trans code. You want that information.

Looks like the second letter was ground off at one point

Thanks all again. I passed on the sale of this one as I believe it is a Jetaway.
I'll be on the lookout for a TH350 though.
