1966 Toronado HEI swap

Car is starting to come together drove it around the block to day NO MORE POINTS runs alot better with this set up.

How did you fit the HEI distributor behind the air filter? Looks smaller than mine

It's not an OEM HEI. It's a MSD unit which uses the same size distributor cap as stock

Just so we're all clear, HEI (High Energy Ignition) is GM's term for the coil-in-cap distributor. People incorrectly use this term to refer to all electronic ignitions, which is like my grandmother calling all refrigerators "frigidaires".

It was easy to install, had to make my own bracket to hold the coil but so far i like this set up.
