I think it's a engine mount or transmission mount of some sort.

Here's a picture of where I'm at!

Looks like lower power steering or alternator mounting brace. Is car an A/C car ?

Thank you! It was lower power steering mount you were right! All mounted up and hopefully I will have it on the road as soon as I can afford to get a new core for my radiator as I can't fid an aftermarket anywhere! Thanks again!

Don't forget to mount the spacers for the power steering pump. One goes behind the lower front bolt. the other mounts to the side of the block and is important for getting the pullys lined up straight. otherwise you will wear out your belts in no time. Washers work if you don't have the original spacers. just check the alignment

You sure? Looks like it belongs in the land down under.... Sure you didn't mean to come out upside down. Easier to see like this:

Glad you found out where the part went to. Now, about that rad support.....

That is much better! Now I see it differently and I can pick out a couple of cosmetic things I would like to fix! Thanks for turning me around!

As for the spacer, I have a feeling that I should have used one but when I looked at the alignment it seemed ok and the only spacer I have after reinstall is almost a half an inch and it seems as though it would be really off then?
