Alternator wiring ‘67 Toro

I’m trying to undo all the wrong the previous owner has left me with. I have a wire coming from the alternator, over the passenger fender well, and it was grounded to the base of the HVAC relay. In looking at the service manual schematic, I *think* this should be a fusible link to the horn relay junction post, but please correct me if I’m wrong. Missing in this pic is the A/C compressor and hoses, which are yet to be installed - just in case this wire belongs there. Any input is welcome, thanks!

That wire powers the circuit breaker on the A/C relay, which I don't see in your photo. It doesn't go to the junction block. The circuit breaker in your photo is for other power options (windows or seats).

Thanks, Joe! I've been pouring over the ASM and the service manual and couldn't find this page...

I may have to post up another picture - I'm missing the circuit breaker for the AC, and I need to track the wires going to the AC relay and the junction block/horn relay to see which ones are mixed up.

Ok - got the missing relay, compared the ASM to the wiring diagram in the chassis manual, and I’m pretty sure this is right. Both the horn and the HVAC relay click loudly, but I still have no fan and no horns. I have new relays on the way. If anything looks out of place, let me know. The car has AC and power seats.

If you look again at the diagram I posted, the black/red stripe wire coming out of the A/C relay connector goes to the breaker next to that relay. The black wire currently connected there actually goes to the breaker on the horn relay junction block.

My 66' looks like this. I think the 67' was the same:

Please excuse the dirt. Photo was taken before I cleaned everything up.

Thanks to you both - pages 284 and 291 in the ASM are a little hard to read. I'll get those wires switched.
