I installed an 80 Toronado 3 spoke steering wheel on my 88. Bought GM contact 9769448, specified in the parts book. There is not enough room for it under the button. It is too long, Does the parts book list the wrong contact? Or is another part missing?

 

I've tried to merge your two threads, apparently unsuccessfully. There's a kit you can get to install a GM horn contact. If the pin is too long it's designed to be trimmed.
