1966 Toro Tele Tilt Acutator vs Edlo Actuator

Working on the tele tilt system, while waiting on a replacement actuator. I decided to try to repair my broken unit. While I was able to glue the actustor back together faily tighy (such that when i put pressure on the metal beacket, the whole actuator flexes with it comming apart at the original break)

Attemping to reinstall the unit, eveyrthung seems to work right, up until i try to mount the switch back onto the mast jacket in the original location. Its seems like the cable is a 1/2" to short and pulling on the casing untimately breaks the repair. Im windering if at some point the unit wasnt swaped out for a unit sourced frim an Eldo at one time in its like. Either that or the bowden cable housing has shrunk over the last 55 years.

Does anyone know the measurements if the cable assemblies?
