1966 Olds Toronado mostly done
This is a car that I wanted since they were introduced in 1966. It is a Deluxe model in Dubonnet inside and out with 47000 miles. The car was driven only one winter thus was a great candidate for media blasting the underside and painted chasis black. The car was repainted 30 plus years ago in enamel. The body shop repaired the RF fender scrape etc and wet sanded/buffed the roof, hood and trunk. It is a driver and joins my '59 Imperial Custom Coupe, '70 Ply. Fury "Pursuit",'69 Grand Prix w/9k miles,'78 New Yorker St Regis Coupe,'79 New yorker,'04 GTO and my '94 Lesabre (for Winter).

Beautiful car.
If you don't mind my asking, what's the last six digits of the VIN or the date-built code on the body cowl tag? The fellow who writes the Toronado column in Journey With Olds, Ralph Braun (who is 80 years old now) always seems to be interested to know what's the earliest-built '66 Toronado still in existence.
