Hello other side of the world.

Today ik have been to the m.o.t test in holland with my oldsmobile Jetstar 1 6.5l 394 engine 1964.
And now i have to fix some things.

Does some one know the part numbers for the control arm bushings front of the car lower en upper ones.
That i can order the ones i need.
And i need a drag link/center link part number and where could i buy one ???.

Greetings from Holland.

Assuming those are the GM part numbers, good luck trying to find them. Some items might still be available from Moog, but I suspect that parts like the center link and idler arm are no longer made. Check with Craig from Mobileparts for N.O.S. replacements. Rare Parts is another source.

Be aware , that Oldsmobile bought two types of steering parts for their "big cars" in this era.
They got parts from their own GM Saginaw division and they also bought parts from the Thompson (TRW) company . The two kinds cannot be mixed . The tapers where the parts connect are different.
The easiest way to tell what kind of steering system you have , is to look at the bottom of the pitman arm for a forging number . The pitman arm is attached to the steering box .
If the number begins with 56 and has seven digits , then it is a Saginaw system .
Anything else will be Thompson (TRW) or "alternate" system .
Also , power and manual steering systems had different components .

Yes. The suspension is the same on all 1963-64 Olds full size cars. The parts are the same.
