Installed Summit Racing Sway Bars
Installed Summit Racing Sway Bars
I recently picked up these Summit Racing sway bars for my 74 cutlass:
SUM-720202 (Front)

and
SUM-720209 (REAR)

The front bar was a direct bolt in piece. The rear required me to drill 2 holes in each lower rear control arm. Very simple to install, definitely a beginner level job.
I am really impressed with the difference that they made. The car doesn't wallow around in a straight line nearly as much as it used to and stays very flat through the turns.

nice!!! sway bars can make a big difference. I upgraded my fr to 1.25 and added a 1" in the rear like you i noticed a big difference in straights at speed over risers and in the corners for sure...if you dont have a fast ratio steering box in your car add that to the list it really improves feel when driving.
Lares 974, very happy w it about $200 from rock auto and comes w a new rag joint. Bolt in and uses your original ps hoses no adapters.
Others have posted they liked the jeep gc box which can be a little less $ but no warranty and needs adapters for ps hoses. Look on rockauto for your car for the exact box but the 974 is pretty common.
