headers hitting one driveway

I put headers on my cultass last summer and now i cant park it in my driveway due to the ride height of them.. (my driveway has a slope to it)...i need around 3.5 to 4 inches of lift in order for my headers to not hit..i have replaced the rear springs before the headers but it still needs more..what should i do? i dont know much about suspension. please hep me

flowmaster, they are tucked up tight.. and fit perfect in the groove in the frame

Do you have a SBO or BBO, any front end mods, front springs sagging? Do you have a picture of the underside of the car showing clearance.

ok so i have no mods done but im sure that the front springs are sagging...ill put up pics as soon as i can (few days)...and i am moving in a few months but i need a quick cheep fix...i was thinking new front springs with coil spacers on both front and rear

BAAAAD idea. The car will look like a 4x4 and handle like one as well. For a "cheep" fix, get chickens, but for a CHEAP fix, buy some 2x12s to lay on the ground where you drive the car up the driveway.

I'm gathering parts to renovate the entire suspension/steering/running gear, etc. of my '68 442. Because: 1)the original springs were sagging to the max and the front have spacers installed by previous owner , 2)I want to run slightly larger tires, 3)will be installing headers when I get to that part of the resto, AND 4)I like the look - I bought new springs, F&R, that are 1 inch taller than stock.

Well...in my younger years, I did manage to put a set of BBO long tubes on a SBO and they were pretty damned close to the ground. This is a real question because they are hard to distinguish...are you SURE you have SBO headers? BBO are 1 inch lower to the ground than SBO if I am not mistaken. Because the higher deck height, in order to put the collector at the same level as the SBO, the BBO are 1 inch taller from the bottom of the collector to the top of the flange. I like the 2x4 idea the best

My drive way has a steep pitch ad my headers have never hit. i have a set of spare sbo headers i know tuck in tight .
