Bushings/Washers on the front Steering

Guys
Don't let the title fool you. Basically looking for that thick felt like washer that is used on the Idler arm as well as the centerlink, tie rod ends etc. I looked at Summit and could only find it with the idler arms as a whole.

The ones that come on the Moog center link are thick open-cell foam washers. Yes, I bet their life expectancey is measured in minutes....
You could make your own with the thick plasticy-type foam stuff. Or visit a sewing-crafts shop for thick felt or other cushion material.

Actually I just noticed that I have a small piece of similar black stuff here on my desk that could be used to make them. It is 1/4" thick and looks better than Moog's washers. If you think this will work, I can send you some if you PM me your addy....

Keep in mind these are only use on the center link, where the pitman arm and the idler arm attach (only 2 felt washers per car). All other parts would use rubber boots (at least that is how the Moog parts are made...)
