Really quite hot here today.... Then a late PM long, slow, rain .
I removed the windshield washer today. Completely cruddy, dirty, and rusty.
Also, it doesn't pump water. Here's what it looked like when I took the cover off. Yikes!

The Ratchet Wheel was completely seized up, and I had a heck of time getting it off. I resurfaced the shaft and cleaned up the hole and I think it will do.
I Completely disassembled ALL of the parts, and found that the bellows is VERY stiff, and had become separated from the plunger. Fusick sell a repair kit, but I'm not sure it has a bellows. Any Ideas?
Electrically I think it should work just fine. The wipers work better than our two MUCH newer cars! The dashboard switch puts the grounds where they should be, and I'm hoping to be able to get this 45 year old deal working.
Please chime in with your own tales of washers, or any suggestions on this project.....
Thanks for listening!
