Bad ball joint?

Hi,
Purchased some replacement control arms that were assembled with all ball joints and bushings. Had a shop install them for me and not sure it looks right. The drivers side is straight but the passenger side looks off and when I take it up the highway and exit, there’s a weird clicking and it’s intermittent. I’m not familiar enough with suspension to know if the ball joint is the culprit but upper and lower control arms, coil springs, sway bar and hardware are all new.

I also noticed a small drop of what looked like oil on the bottom of the grease fitting on the lower ball joint and wasn’t sure about that either. It wasn’t thick grease it was oily.

Help?

You will notice a few drops of oil sometimes as the grease separates or moisture gets in there. I think the boots are crumpled differently giving you an optical illusion on the ball joints. You can set the car on jack stands under the lower control arms, knock the joints apart and do an inspection if it would put your mind at ease.

To me it looks like the steering arm is broken. I can't believe a shop would attach a ball joint to one in that condition, broken or not.
