One suggestion is not to ask suspension questions under the electrical forum... especially with a thread title that says "dash lights won't turn off".

Here, I moved it for you.

I suggest you find a parts car and take the OE front disc/rear drums off of it. You can get new shocks and struts from your local auto parts store. Check out Kanter for suspension rebuild parts (ball joints, control arm bushings, etc.)

I agree that used OEM disc brakes are a better choice than new Chinesium repros, but all the suspension parts for A-body cars are readily available from Moog. I'd use those over the "white box" no-name stuff from Kanter.

Good point Joe. I wonder, are the Moog parts made in the USA or Mexico? They're definitely not Chinesium.

You can get moog front end parts (ball joints, tie rod ends, rubber bushings) from your local parts store or any of the internet suppliers like rockauto, etc. I believe some moog parts are made in China and Mexico as well as other countries.

Sadly they are pretty much all imported today. India, Mexico, Indonesia, etc.

Agreed. Last suspension refresh I bought everything from my local auto parts store.
