Purpose of 2nd eyelet on carb throttle lever?

Purpose of 2nd eyelet on carb throttle lever?

Hey guys,

There are 2 eyelets on the throttle lever on my quadrajet. One if for the throttle return spring. What is the other for?

Cruise Control linkage, I think!?!?!

the long rod in the forground is the cruise pull.

He is talking about the one in the back with the red arrow pointing to it.
It is probably for some other app. of which it is not used on the this set up.
