Roller lifters in stock lifter bores. Available?

Is there anybody who makes roller lifters for a stock Olds small block that doesn't require any machining for use? I would like to turn this 403 I'm putting back together into a roller cammed setup.

The lifter bars will likely not clear your stock intake. Least our 403 it didn’t.

Roller lifters hit stock intakes and the base Performer intake on small blocks.
Howards and the Comp 857 are the only hydraulic lifters currently on shelves. Comp has a new design, 85701, that will be available Real Soon Now(tm).
You can also go solid roller. There's a handful of options there - Howards (get the pin oiler, not the base model), BAM, old stock Crane, a few others.

Howards are just rebadged Morel lifters.

^^^^^. And right now Morels are junk.
Comps should be available by the end of this month. I have a few sets on order, one set will go in my mule for the next round of cyl head tests.

I managed to make the Morels work on my Wife's 84 307. Had to use the performer intake as the stock one definitely wont work. Also flipped the lifters so the link bars were towards the cylinders. Still had to do some modifying on the lifters and the manifold. They have been in there now for 3 years or so and probably 10K miles and all is well. No crazy camshaft, I had Crane grind me one as close to the stock flat tappet as possible.

Ok, sounds like I will go with a flat tappet for this (re)build.

The Comp's 85701 roller lifters won't clear stock intake nor the Edel Performer 3711 (SBO, of course).

Performer intake correct? Too bad he didn't use the RPM. There is lots of room with the S hood, even with a stock style air cleaner. Try and track one down, you will gain performance even with the current cam.

Well, there is no intake at the moment. I am in the market for something suitable.
